Alice Torres is the newest advocate for the Arc of Weld County, and our newest bi-lingual advocate. She is a Greeley native, and loves seeing the community grow and change. Alice has a background in bi-lingual, bi-cultural education, and has always had a desire to serve other people and make her community a better place. She comes to our agency with a wealth of knowledge after 36 years of employment with Envision, the Weld County Community Center Board. While Alice has only been at the Arc of Weld County for a few months, she has had the opportunity to expand her knowledge by attending trainings on the IEP process, cultivating better listening skills, as well as various advocacy and respite care trainings. Alice is excited to be part of the Arc team and expand her experiences and support of people with I/DD in our community. She and her family are fully invested in seeing the Greeley/Evans community grow and thrive through the inclusion of all people.
