Systems Advocacy
The Arc of Weld County (The AWC) works to provide systems advocacy primarily through the protection of rights for those citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work to educate our constituents and promote practices that impact the delivery of high quality supports for individuals with IDD, their families, and their caregivers. We believe that educating our community is important in protecting the rights of all people and is crucial in advocating for such a small and vulnerable population. For more information on how to get involved sign up to receive our e-newsletters.
