Alice Torres
Advocate
Alice Torres is the bi-lingual Advocate for The Arc of Weld County (The AWC). She is a Greeley native, and loves seeing the community grow and change. Alice has a background in bi-lingual, bi-cultural education, and has always had a desire to serve other people and make her community a better place. She comes to our agency with a wealth of knowledge after 36 years of employment with Envision, the Weld County Community Center Board. While at The AWC, Alice had the opportunity to expand her knowledge by attending trainings on the IEP process, cultivating better listening skills, as well as various advocacy and respite care trainings. Alice is excited to be part of The AWC team and expand her experiences and support of people with IDD in our community. She and her family are fully invested in seeing the Greeley/Evans community grow and thrive through the inclusion of all people.
