The Arc of Weld County and The Arc of Colorado are excited to bring you the award-winning “Hearts of Glass” documentary and an engaging panel discussion! The panel will feature the filmmaker, employees from Vertical Harvest Farms and other panelists.

Hearts of Glass follows the tumultuous first 15 months of operation of Vertical Harvest (VH) of Jackson, Wyoming — a state-of-the-art hydroponic greenhouse that provides meaningful, inclusive employment for people with disabilities. The film weaves the story of VH’s launch with the personal journeys of employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Plants and people grow together in this intimate portrait of innovation, inclusion and impact.

The film is being presented with descriptive audio and closed captioning (English and Spanish).

You can stream the film at your convenience from Friday, October 8th through Sunday, October 17th  at Hearts of Glass (

We invite you to watch the film and then join the panel discussion at 4 pm MT on Thursday, October 14th. We anticipate a lively and interactive event with plenty of audience Q&A.
