Brittanie Duncan

Administrative Assistant

Brittanie was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California
and in 2014 made her way to Northern Colorado. Brittanie’s
journey with The Arc of Weld County (The AWC) began
shortly after moving to Colorado when she began volunteering
for The AWC in the annual Families in Action Retreat. Now,
Brittanie is thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve her
community and the organization in her new role as an employee.
Brittanie’s family has a more personal connection with The
AWC as they have provided several years of advocacy and
service for one of her younger brothers with I/DD. Brittanie’s
father also serves on The Board of Directors as the Treasurer for
The AWC.
Brittanie also serves as a Direct Service Provider where she is
able to fuel her passion for working alongside individuals with
intellectual & developmental disabilities. Brittanie’s brother,
Andre, is her biggest role model for compassion and integrity in
the I/DD world.
Brittanie is committed to seeing her community thrive and hopes
for the inclusion of all people. Her life motto is “In a world
where you can be anything, be kind.”
