The Arc of Weld County
The Arc of Weld County (The AWC) is an advocacy organization focused on protecting the rights of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We provide no-fee individual advocacy services, community outreach programs such as events, education and training, and systems (legislative) advocacy to Weld County as well as the following Northeastern Counties: Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Washington and Yuma.
Our advocacy services have been developed to safeguard the rights of individuals of all ages with I/DD, facilitate choice, and promote independence and inclusion in community life.
Education & Training
We offer educational videos, training materials, resources and quarterly training sessions to better equip the community with strong advocates for those living with I/DD in our communities.
Programs & Events
We provide programs and events for individuals with I/DD and their families to promote independence and inclusion in family life. Our events include Project Illumination, Families in Action and more.

Through donations and the support of our community, The Arc of Weld County (The AWC) is able to fulfill its mission of promoting and protecting the human rights of people in the community with intellectual and developmental disabilities through advocacy and support services.
The Arc of Weld County receives no local, state or federal funding. We rely on alternative funding sources so that we may continue to provide services to residents of Weld County and Northeastern Colorado.
